Abstract

This research examines the practice of work motivation, the formation of employee performance, and the strength of the effect of work motivation on performance at the College of Management IMMI (STIMA IMMI) Jakarta. The empirical background arises from indications that work drive and performance outcomes are not yet optimal, reflected in tardiness patterns, task responsibility, recognition systems, and workplace climate. A descriptive–verificative survey design was employed. Data were gathered through literature review and questionnaires. All 50 employees of STIMA IMMI Jakarta served as respondents via saturated sampling. Analysis included a Likert scale, validity and reliability testing, Weight Mean Score (WMS), and regression with statistical tests using SPSS. Findings show that Work Motivation falls into the Good category (mean 3.72), as does Employee Performance. The instruments were valid and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.6). The study concludes that work motivation significantly affects employee performance at STIMA IMMI Jakarta.
